Join G. James Avery , MD for a free, online education event that discusses, “The 2 Sides of TOS”. An experienced and compassionate TOS surgeon Dr. Avery discusses the dynamic relationship between the clavicle & underlying 1st rib, which can create bone-on-bone, vice like brachial plexus nerve compression. This phenomenon is a key component of the “front half” of the problem.  Dr. Avery also describes the muscular tension that develops in the upper back (shrugger muscles) as a result of involuntary guarding, the “back half” of the condition.
